The Masked Dancer premiere was aired on Fox on January 6, Wednesday which featured the second half of Season 1’s contestants. Sloth was one of the Group B performers.

Clues and Guesses on the face behind Sloth mask on ‘The Masked Dancer’
According to FOX, the celebrities dancing behind the mask have impressive achievements on their resumes. “Between all of the celebrity dancers, they’ve amassed more than 20 Emmy Award wins,38 million albums sold worldwide, 20 Grammy Award nominations, five New York Times Best-Selling Author titles, four Olympic gold medals, 10 World Dancing titles, and three Broadway show appearances.”, FOX shared in a statement. Which impressive accolades are attached to the celebrity behind the Sloth mask?
One of the important features about the Sloth that the panelists noticed was his height and size, thinking if he might be an athlete. Judges also commented that he “seems funny”. Could the celebrity face behind the Sloth mask be a famous model?
At the start of the Sloth coming on the stage, in the first video clue package, Sloth said, “I worked hard to get to where I am.”
“Glee” toothpaste acted as a potential clue for the panelists to guess the anonymous star’s true identity. During the clue package, phrases like “Mickey Mouse operation” and “Stronger than yesterday” also popped.
The Sloth danced to “What I like About You” by the Romantics under a blanket and was “awoken” by an alarm clock.
During the video clue package, some of the visual props and clues included a cabana on the beach, a treadmill, weight lifting, and gymnastics rings.
During his dance performance, he had put up the “L” sign on his forehead.
After Sloth’s performance, Paula Abdulla said, “You have to be a trained dancer to have reckless abandon as you do.”
The Sloth’s “Word Up” clue which was delivered with his voice modulation feature removed was “Broadway”, which he said in his real voice. Ken Jeong assumed that the celebrity face behind the mask is Broadway trained. The judges also noted his accent but said that it might be red herring to confuse them.
Guesses Panelists Made On ‘The Masked Dancer’ Sloth
The four celebrity panelists to guess for the face behind the Ice Cube Mask were Ashley Tisdale, Brian Austin Green, Paula Abdul, and Ken Jeong.
According to Paula Abdul, the celebrity face behind the Sloth Mask might be Matthew Morrison because of the references to Glee and Broadway. Recently, Morrison was starred as the Grinch in the Broadway musical ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas!’.
Due to the Britney Spears-related clues in the video package, Green guessed Kevin Federline as the celebrity face behind the Sloth mask.
Ashley Tisdale guessed him as Jason DeRulo, who was a part of the movie Cats (which is based on a Broadway musical).
At the end of the episode, Sloth escaped the elimination which means that fans have to continue watching The Masked Dancer and see what clues Sloth brings in the next episode.
The Masked Dance airs on FOX on Wednesday nights at 8 pm.
